What makes cleaning in George Town different?

The UNESCO core is full of buildings that predate modern glazing, and that changes how we work. Pre-war shophouses have timber-framed windows, single-glazed panes that flex, and lime plaster reveals that will spot permanently if you let water sheet down them. We work drier here, we hand-detail more, and we do not put pressure anywhere near old render.

Access is the second constraint. Five-foot ways are narrow, streets around Chulia and Armenian are busy from mid-morning, and there is often nowhere to set up a pole safely once trishaws and pedestrians are moving. Most of our George Town work starts at 8:30 AM for exactly that reason.

What does it cost in George Town?

The same starting prices apply across Penang with no travel surcharge: window cleaning from RM100, hard water removal from RM200 after a RM50 inspection, upholstery from RM50 per seat and pressure washing from RM250. Solar panel cleaning is quoted only after a site visit or drone survey, and high-reach dusting from a photo of your tallest room. Heritage shophouse frontages typically land between RM160 and RM340 depending on frontage width and how much timber detailing there is.

Where we do quote differently is timber and lime. Old frames take longer, so we allow for that in the quote rather than rushing and damaging them. Pressure washing on pre-war render is usually declined outright — soft washing only, or nothing.
